Brian Raduenz is the Chief Executive Officer for AEVEX Aerospace. Prior to the formation of AEVEX, he served as CEO of Merlin Global Services, a leading provider of flight operations, aircraft maintenance, and aviation training support to the DoD intelligence community. During the past ten years, Brian led the company through significant organic growth and infrastructure development.

Before joining Merlin, Brian served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as a commander, flight test engineer, and program manager for a variety of manned and unmanned Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) acquisition programs. During his first of two tours in Washington D.C. Brian was responsible for Pentagon post-9/11 oversight of Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) budgets. He later served as the Director of White House Presidential Contingency Programs under President George W. Bush. Brian’s final decade in the Air Force focused on leading government oversight of MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper production, development, and sustainment.

Brian received his Air Force Commission and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He also holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Military Studies from Air University.


Rob Ferriol is the President of AEVEX Aerospace. Prior to the formation of AEVEX, Rob served as President and CEO of CSG Solutions (CSG), a company he founded in 2009 to provide specialized intelligence & exploitation solutions to the ISR community.

A Marine Corps veteran and decorated civil servant, Rob has maintained a career-long focus on ISR operations and capabilities. Prior to founding CSG, Rob planned and executed both tactical and operational employment of ISR assets for the elite Special Operations community in a wide variety of mission sets across the globe.

At AEVEX, Rob continues to draw upon his unique experience to further evolve innovative end-to-end ISR solutions. His vision centers on advancing the company’s worldwide impact by closing the gaps in ISR knowledge, efficiency, and effectiveness in both conventional and Special Operations Forces, as well as within combatant commands, government intelligence agencies, and in the broader defense and commercial sectors.


Manan Patel is the Chief Technology Officer for AEVEX Aerospace. Prior to the formation of AEVEX, he served as CEO and Founder of Special Operations Solutions, LLC (SOS), a small business specializing in ISR and remote sensing technical solutions. Under his leadership, SOS grew to support several high-profile ISR programs and was recognized on Inc500’s list of America’s fastest growing companies.

Prior to founding SOS, Manan worked with the CERDEC Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) as an Electronics Engineer, receiving the NVESD Technical Achievement Award, U.S. Army Commander’s Civilian Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Medal. Throughout his 13-year career, Manan has been instrumental in the development, enhancement, and implementation of innovative technologies for the U.S. military.

Manan holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University along with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.


Dan Talati is the Chief Strategy Officer of AEVEX Aerospace. Prior to joining AEVEX, Dan spent 27 years in the U.S. Air Force, culminating at the rank of Colonel. At AEVEX, he leverages his expertise in airborne operations, government procurement, and strategic planning to help formulate and execute the company’s alignment and growth strategies.

Dan previously served at Headquarters, Air Combat Command as the Deputy Assistant Director of Plans, Programs and Requirements, ensuring the readiness and lethality of the USAF’s 2,800 combat forces aircraft. Earlier, he was an Operations Group Commander at Robins Air Force Base, where he led 800 active duty personnel operating the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System aircraft.

Dan holds a Masters of Strategic Studies from the Air War College; a Masters of Arts, National Security & Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College; and a Masters of Arts, Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma.


Ed Lake is the Chief Financial Officer for AEVEX Aerospace. Prior to the formation of AEVEX, Ed served as CFO of Merlin Global Services. Ed has extensive financial, operational, and strategic management experience in both publicly traded and privately held companies. His specific business area expertise includes aerospace and defense, software, predictive analytics, cybersecurity, public safety and security, and wireless communications.

Prior to joining Merlin, Ed was a Managing Director with Shoreline Partners, an investment banking firm where he focused on M&A activities. He also held key executive positions for Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, a publicly traded national security technology company where he was responsible for company-wide corporate development and M&A in support of five operating divisions. Ed serves on the Board for the San Diego Chapter of Financial Executives International and is past Chair of the Steering Committee of the San Diego Chapter of the Aerospace & Defense Forum.

He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University.


Jason Link is General Manager of the Intelligence Solutions business unit of AEVEX Aerospace in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Prior to the formation of AEVEX, Jason joined CSG Solutions as the Director of Operations before being promoted to Chief of Staff.

Before joining CSG, Jason served 14-years in the U.S. Army with both the 75th Ranger Regiment and 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D).  He previously excelled in government contracting program management with AMTI and SAIC, owned and operated several start-up small businesses, and gained invaluable experience through several acquisitions and mergers. Jason also served as an airborne sensor operator in Afghanistan and North Africa specializing in mission planning and operational execution, tactical air-to-air and air-to-ground communications, and airborne systems troubleshooting.


Jeremy Watrous is the General Manager of the Flight Operations business unit of AEVEX Aerospace in San Diego, California. Prior to the formation of AEVEX, Jeremy was the Vice President of Operations at Merlin Global Services. Jeremy leads the program management and global deployment teams providing worldwide flight operations, maintenance, training, and engineering support. Prior to joining Merlin, Jeremy served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Imagery Analyst and Imagery Chief where he specialized in the advanced analysis of synthetic aperture radar and fusion of multi-source intelligence.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in project management from National University. He also earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI).

> VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER, Engineering and Technology

Paul Stewart is the General Manager of Engineering and Technology at AEVEX Aerospace in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Prior to joining AEVEX, Paul was Director of Programs at ZMicro, Inc. where he provided strategic direction for new product development. Previously, he was on the senior leadership team at ForceX (now L-3 ForceX, Inc.).

Paul holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix; an Associate of Applied Science Avionic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force; and an Associate of Science, Electrical Engineering Technology from Northwest Florida State College.


Rebecca Culjat is the Vice President of Training for AEVEX Aerospace and previously advised the Flight Operations Business Unit in a training and leadership coaching capacity. Rebecca provides individual and group training opportunities to enhance the existing skillsets of managers and leaders to drive exceptional team results. With an emphasis on creating cultural alignment to the values and strategic goals of the company, Rebecca supports leaders and teams in designing, implementing and maintaining initiatives that positively impact people, streamline processes and enhance results.

Rebecca began her career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving underserved populations, and advanced to become the Chief Operating Officer for Novata Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of Mental Health Systems. As she progressed into leadership and executive roles, Rebecca discovered a passion for mentoring, teaching and training others on communication, motivation, and the creation of high-functioning teams. This passion became the backdrop that inspired her to move beyond the realm of behavioral healthcare organizations and begin training and coaching executive leadership teams.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from UC Davis, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from UC Davis, and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California. She is also certified by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT).

> Vice President of Business Development & Strategy

Prior to AEVEX, Jamon served as the Senior Intelligence Officer for the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASOAC) where he managed the intelligence and security support to an organization composed of 4,200 personnel and 204 specially modified helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft and unmanned aerial systems. Jamon also supported many other ISR and intelligence efforts with a variety of Special Operations units throughout his military career with 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), Special Operations Command – Africa (SOCAF), and U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC).

Jamon received his U.S. Army commission and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Master of Strategic Security Studies from the National Defense University’s College of International Security Affairs.
