Brian Raduenz, Chief Executive Officer for AEVEX Aerospace


Brian Raduenz is the Chief Executive Officer for AEVEX Aerospace. Prior to the formation of AEVEX, he served as CEO of Merlin Global Services, a leading provider of operations, maintenance, and training support to the DoD intelligence community. During the past ten years, Brian led the company through significant organic growth, while building the infrastructure for a larger platform.

Prior to joining Merlin, Brian served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as Commander, Flight Test Engineer, and Program Manager supporting a variety of manned and unmanned Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) acquisition programs. During his first of two tours in Washington D.C., Brian was responsible for Pentagon post-9/11 oversight of Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) budgets. He later served as Director of White House Presidential Contingency Programs under President George W. Bush. During his last 10 years in the U.S. Air Force, Brian was a key contributor and heavily involved in government oversight of the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper RPA production, development, and sustainment activities.

Brian received his Air Force Commission and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He also holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Military Studies from Air University.

Robert “Rob” Ferriol Chief Operating Officer AEVEX Aerospace image


Robert “Rob” Ferriol is the Chief Operating Officer for AEVEX Aerospace. Prior to the formation of AEVEX, Rob served as CEO of Companion Security Group (CSG), a company he founded to provide critical intelligence solutions to the ISR community.

A Marine Corps veteran and decorated civil servant, Rob has maintained a strong focus on leveling the ISR playing field. Prior to founding CSG, Rob orchestrated the tactical and operational employment of ISR assets against a wide variety of mission sets in multiple conflict areas, where he saw firsthand the value and impact of innovative ISR technology and services.

During a 17-year association with the U.S. Military, Special Operations Forces, and Intelligence agencies, Rob planned and executed hundreds of sensitive U.S. intelligence missions around the world. Based on this experience, he recognized a distinct disparity of ISR TCPED knowledge and effectiveness between not only Conventional and Special Operations Forces, but across the various combatant commands, government agencies, and throughout the industry.

Rob continues to draw upon his unique experience to develop an ISR operation, PED, and GEOINT analytic service that delivers an unparalleled combination of technical acumen and operational experience.

Manan Patel Chief Technology Officer for AEVEX Aerospace


Manan Patel is the Chief Technology Officer for AEVEX Aerospace. Prior to AEVEX, he served as CEO/Founder of Special Operations Solutions, LLC (SOS), a small business specializing in ISR and remote sensing solutions. Under his leadership, SOS grew to support several high-profile ISR programs and was named multiple times on the Inc500 list of America’s fastest growing private companies.

Prior to SOS, Manan worked with the CERDEC Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) as an Electronics Engineer, where he received the NVESD Technical Achievement Award, U.S. Army Commander’s Civilian Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Medal. Throughout his 13-year career, Manan has been instrumental in the development, enhancement, and implementation of innovative and critical technologies for U.S. forces.

Manan holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University along with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Dan Talati Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at AEVEX Aerospace


Dan Talati is the Chief Strategy Officer of AEVEX Aerospace. Prior to joining AEVEX, Dan had a 27-year career with the U.S. Air Force, culminating in the rank of Colonel. At AEVEX, he will leverage his deep expertise in airborne operations and strategic planning to help formulate and execute the company’s future growth strategy. Dan previously served at Air Combat Command at Langley Air Force Base as the Deputy Assistant Director of Plans, Programs and Requirements, ensuring the lethality and readiness of USAF’s 2,800 combat forces aircraft. Earlier, he was an Operations Group Commander at Robins Air Force Base, leading a group of more than 800 active duty personnel operating the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System aircraft.

Dan holds a Masters of Strategic Studies from the Air War College; a Masters of Arts, National Security & Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College; and a Masters of Arts, Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma.

Edward Lake, Chief Financial Officer for AEVEX Aerospace


Ed Lake is the Chief Financial Officer for AEVEX Aerospace. Prior to the formation of AEVEX, Ed served as CFO of Merlin Global Services since 2016. Ed is a versatile executive with extensive financial, operational, and strategic management experience serving in both publicly traded and privately held companies. The industries in which he has experience include aerospace and defense, software, predictive analytics, cybersecurity, public safety and security, and wireless communications.

Prior to joining Merlin, Ed was a Managing Director with Shoreline Partners, and held key executive positions for Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS), a National Security technology company. In his roles at Kratos, Ed was responsible for company-wide corporate development and M&A in support of five operating divisions.

Ed also serves as the Chair of the Steering Committee of the San Diego Chapter of the Aerospace & Defense Forum. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University.

Jeremy Watrous, General Manager of Flight Operations Support for AEVEX Aerosapce


Jeremy Watrous is the General Manager of the Flight Operations division of AEVEX Aerospace in San Diego, California. Prior to the formation of AEVEX, Jeremy was the Vice President of Operations at Merlin Global Services. Jeremy manages the program and deployment teams providing flight operations, maintenance, training, and engineering support worldwide. Prior to joining Merlin, Jeremy served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Imagery Analyst / Imagery Chief, where he specialized in the advanced analysis of synthetic aperture radar and fusion of multi-source intelligence.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in project management from National University. He also earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Jason Link, General Manager of Intelligence Solutions for AEVEX Aerospace


Jason Link is General Manager of the Intelligence Solutions division of AEVEX Aerospace in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Prior to the formation of AEVEX, Jason was the Chief of Staff at CSG Solutions. Prior to his five years at CSG, Jason was as an airborne sensor operator at L3 Technologies, where his responsibilities included mission planning and execution; tactical communications with U.S. ground forces and other operational aircraft on target; and troubleshooting systems in flight. Jason also was a Program Manager at Applied Marine Technology, which later integrated into SAIC. During his 10 years with the U.S. Army, Jason served as an Operator in the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFODD).

Paul Stewart Vice President, Engineering & Technology for AEVEX Aerospace

Paul Stewart is the Vice President of Engineering and Technology at AEVEX Aerospace. For over 20 years, Paul has led and managed personnel, projects and programs to solve complex technical problems for the U.S. Department of Defense. At AEVEX, he will be responsible for developing opportunities and executing programs within the company’s Engineering & Technology Division to enhance its full-spectrum integration capabilities. Prior to joining AEVEX, Paul was Director of Programs at ZMicro, Inc., where he provided strategic direction through new product opportunities to expand the company’s presence in the Department of Defense and military markets. Previously, Stewart was an early employee of ForceX (now L-3 ForceX, Inc.), where he was a key member of the senior leadership team.

Paul holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix; an Associate of Applied Science Avionic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force; and an Associate of Science, Electrical Engineering Technology from Northwest Florida State College.
